I debated doing a favourites type post as I haven’t done one for a while and I couldn’t seem to find enough products to makeup up a whole post’s worth, so I thought I’d try something a bit different. I’ve tried to keep things as all things that I’ve yet to review yet (bar one), […]
Tarte tarteist lash paint Mascara Review
So over the holidays I wanted to splurge and get some new products, and have been eyeing this mascara for some time now. So as you may know I had reviewed the benefit mascara and was my go to mascara. It gave great length and volume without being clumpy, only problem I really had with it was that my lashes seemed dry after I put on a few coats and didn’t really like that.
But one of my friends suggested I try Tarte’s recent release of their tarteist mascara which, is similar to the benefit they’re real mascara but I believe its a better formula. So I decided to try it out and I feel in love. It has been the only thing I have been really wearing on a day-to-day basis. So I would highly suggest to try out this mascara if you’re needing to go back to the store and replenish or if you’re looking to try a new mascara. Its the same price as the they’re real mascara so definitely believe that its worth it ;).
Maybe ill do a side by side comparison if you guys want to see the difference, I would just need to go get another they’re real mascara. Let me know.
Thanks for reading, until next time
Hey Hey My lovelies,
So I’ve decided that every once in awhile I am going to share some of my photo from shoots that I go on and talk about my experience and journey as an aspiring young model.
It’s something that I am absolutely in love with and would love to share it with you guys. Now, my last shoot was tons of fun! And something that I hadn’t done before. The theme of the shoot was an “Alice in Wonderland” themed shoot. Which I was excited about since I had that inspiration. Would love to hear you guys feedback on wether or not you would like to hear about my experiences and how you think my photos come out!
The shoot took place on a hiking trail in a “forest”, not quite sure what to call it for sure as hiking and being in the set up is not something that I was too familiar with. Also to mention it was about 90 degrees and bugs are 10x worst when you’re in the trees “hiking, but I sucked it up for the photos. Which came out way better then expected.
I am going to keep it short and sweet, again I would love to hear everyone’s feedback on what they think!!
So recently I have bought both they’re real mascara by benefit including their now gel eyeliner. So the they’re real mascara has to be one of my all time favorite mascaras, I don’t but it all the time because it is 20+ for the full size but it is totally worth it! It helps to separate and lengthen my lashes without being clumpy, hardly at all. Also it isn’t flaky or weigh down your lashes throughout the day. So if you’re looking for a new mascara or you have been thinking about buying they’re real from Benefit, I say go for it! You probably won’t regret it 🙂
In addition to buying on of my favorite mascaras, I was told Benefit has just came out with a new eyeliner not too long ago. I was looking for a new eyeliner because I was running out and decided to try it. It is a gel eyeliner in pen form which I thought was nice, and was told many customers liked it and decided to give it a try. I would say it is great for beginner and you’re just starting to learn how to line your eyes, because the angled tip is great and makes it easier to line. One thing I don’t like too much is that you have to turn it to release product quite often, as well as the color isn’t as dark as I would like it. But since I try to do a little make up in the mornings before school, its great since its easy and cuts down on my time doing makeup.
Hope I helped, and encouraged you to go and check out some products from Benefit! would love to hear your opinions on these or other products by them!
Now I know we all have some products we CAN NOT live without. So I thought I’d share some of my most stable products that I always have in my make set or in my bathroom. Hope you enjoy!!
#1 BubbleGum Lip Scrub by Lush
So my lips tend to get dry especially when it gets cold outside! I love using this lip scrub and then putting some lip balm, then putting lipstick or lip gloss or just rocking the lip balm. The lip scrub comes in a bunch of yummy flavors that you can lick off after, or what I like to do sometimes is putting warm on my lips after scrubbing and that helps to lock in some moisture as well!
#2 Sephora Classic Eyeliner
Now I have tried A lot of eyeliners and this is probably one of my favorites. I always get a nice black line and don’t have to go over it many times or not at all. As well as it gives me a lot of control, it is a stiff tip and not flimsy like some other eyeliners, and I would say last a pretty decent amount of time. The one I have now is from December and I am just about to go buy another one! So I would totally recommend it!
#3 Nivea Cocoa Butter Lotion
As you all know, we are just getting over winter(some of us still experiencing it). But I moisture every time I get out of the shower, sometimes even twice a day! But I always need a good lotion, and Nivea has always been pretty good when it comes to lotion. You don’t have to put a lot, doesn’t make you feel greasy at all, Which I absolutely hate feeling oily and icky. But its not expensive at all, lasts a while since you don’t have to put too much on. So I would say go to Target and get a bottle!
#4 Victoria’s Secret- Secret Escape Body Mist
Now I haven’t tried a bunch of body mists and perfumes from Victoria secret, but I’ve smelled many lol. But this is my fave! It was actually a gift from my grandma, and she made a pretty awesome choice. I sprayed right after the shower or right before I head out of the door somewhere. It doesn’t last that long because it is a mist, but I love the scent, and would recommend it!
#5 Maybelline- Mega Plush Mascara
Last, but not least, is the Mega Plush Mascara, I know that it is an older mascara, and you may have forgotten all about it, but I love this mascara, I think it’s probably the Brush that does it for me, and when it dries, it doesn’t dry flaky and hard like some other mascaras. It isn’t my absolute favorite, but I love pairing this one up with other mascaras or just wearing it by itself when I don’t want to wear too much makeup. If you’re looking to try a inexpensive mascara, I would recommend this one.
