Alice In Wonderland

Hey Hey My lovelies,

So I’ve decided that every once in awhile I am going to share some of my photo from shoots that I go on and talk about my experience and journey as an aspiring young model.

It’s something that I am absolutely in love with and would love to share it with you guys. Now, my last shoot was tons of fun! And something that I hadn’t done before. The theme of the shoot was an “Alice in Wonderland” themed shoot. Which I was excited about since I had that inspiration. Would love to hear you guys feedback on wether or not you would like to hear about my experiences and how you think my photos come out!

The shoot took place on a hiking trail in a “forest”, not quite sure what to call it for sure as hiking and being in the set up is not something that I was too familiar with. Also to mention it was about 90 degrees and bugs are 10x worst when you’re in the trees “hiking, but I sucked it up for the photos. Which came out way better then expected.

I am going to keep it short and sweet, again I would love to hear everyone’s feedback on what they think!!

Beauty Hacks You Need To Know

Hey Hey lovelies,

So what better to make the getting ready process much quicker and simpler is by finding tricks to putting together an outfit, or getting that perfect eyeliner. So of course I thought I would share with you some tips and tricks that I do myself! So of which you may or may not already know!

  1. Deodorant Stains on your shirt!
    1. So I know this all happens to all of us when we are getting ready. We put our deodorant on after the shower and we throw on a t-shirt so that we can head out of the door. Until we notice that of course there are deodorant stains on our shirts (especially black shirts) Well there is a trick to getting them out without changing shirts! You grab a pair of jeans and rub your jeans on the strains until they are gone! Which takes about 20 seconds or so, not too long for sure under a minute. Was super happy when I found this trick because this happens to me ALL THE TIME.
  2. Secret to Super soft legs after Shaving
    1. So I have been doing this for as long as I can remember and not sure if I have shared this yet or not. But an inexpensive way to getting super soft legs after shaving. Hold up on buying on expensive shaving cream, instead go for a cheap hair conditioner. Next time you’re in the shower replace your shaving cream with conditioner and you’ll get better results then shaving with shaving cream. And now you have one product for 2 jobs!
  3. Minimize Pores
    1. This is a more recent trick that I have found out about that works wonders. So it is a simple 2 ingredient mask that you can apply after washing your face to help minimize pores. Wash your face with your favorite cleanser, and then mix together a small amount of baking soda and lemon juice. Just enough to cover your face, then wait about 5-10 minutes until it is completely dry. Then rise and VOILA smaller pores and clearer looking skin. Don’t forget to add moisturizer and sunscreen to protect your skin. I love doing this mask, and try to do it about once or twice a week.

I hope you enjoyed reading up on my tips and tricks and I hope you can take something away from them. Thanks again and hope you continue to read my content 😉

NYX Review!

Hey Hey!

SO Sorry its been a minute since I posted a beauty article ( school is finally over yay).

So I am here to share with you of course of lip products. So far some time matte lips are all about the rave, and I’m here to talk to you about some good and inexpensive lip creams by NYX. I had discovered them about a year ago, when I decided to step outside of my comfort zone and try a matte dark purple lip cream which is the one on the far left called Transylvania, and when I first tried it I feel in love!!

It compliments me so well, and I believe could go well with so many skin complexions, and I highly recommend them! So of course I had to try other lip creams in the matte collection, and this is when I picked up San Paulo which is the middle pink one, and Monte Carlo which is the far right red one. I love all of them and they last a few hours before you need to reapply.

I wear them out all the time and sometime get compliments ;). So if you’re in the market for a new matte lipgloss and want to try something different and not spend $20 on a lip stick. Check out NYX soft matte lip creams! With only $6 a piece. I do want to get more in the collection and also check out their NYX lingerie collection since I’ve heard good things!

Thanks so much for reading!! Tell me your experiences with NYX!

Promise you’ll hear from me soon!

H&M: Sustainability Campagin

Hey Hey,

So you or may not know that H&M has released a new collection recently, and yet again it is focused on sustainability in our environment. Which I love the combination personally, H&M is my favorite store overall, great price and great style. As well as I am an environmentalist so knowing that my favorite store is trying to do good for the environment has my heart melting.

But H&M has received a lot of backfire on their campaign. This is their 5th time around launching a sustainability collection, this time with goals of reaching 1,000 tons of clothes donated from customers. Which is a far fetched goal to reach especially with constraints in less then a months time. Including there have been arguments that H&M may be taking away from thrift store such as the goodwill, when it comes to cloth donations. I’m not entirely sure the impact H&M would have on thrift stores, but there may be an effect. They have continue to fail with their goals, but having hopes to reach their goal, and not giving up on holding sustainability near and dear to their brand and mission.

So I love the idea and hope the best for H&M, but for sure they should not be bashed for launching a sustainable line, along with goals of collecting so many tons of clothes from customers. I do believe that H&M need to make their target audience much more clearer and targeting them more aggressively when it comes to campaigns they are running. Because I have just found out about it from a business article attacking their campaign. But I do not think that H&M goals are impossible, some flaws yes, but everyone makes mistakes and need to learn from them. I love H&M and will support them, especially when they are promoting sustainability in the environment.

Let me know what you think on the issue?

Thanks for reading!!!

Benefit Review!

Hey Hey!

So recently I have bought both they’re real mascara by benefit including their now gel eyeliner. So the they’re real mascara has to be one of my all time favorite mascaras, I don’t but it all the time because it is 20+ for the full size but it is totally worth it! It helps to separate and lengthen my lashes without being clumpy, hardly at all. Also it isn’t flaky or weigh down your lashes throughout the day. So if you’re looking for a new mascara or you have been thinking about buying they’re real from Benefit, I say go for it! You probably won’t regret it 🙂

In addition to buying on of my favorite mascaras, I was told Benefit has just came out with a new eyeliner not too long ago. I was looking for a new eyeliner because I was running out and decided to try it. It is a gel eyeliner in pen form which I thought was nice, and was told many customers liked it and decided to give it a try. I would say it is great for beginner and you’re just starting to learn how to line your eyes, because the angled tip is great and makes it easier to line. One thing I don’t like too much is that you have to turn it to release product quite often, as well as the color isn’t as dark as I would like it. But since I try to do a little make up in the mornings before school, its great since its easy and cuts down on my time doing makeup.

Hope I helped, and encouraged you to go and check out some products from Benefit! would love to hear your opinions on these or other products by them!
